Where can I find more information about Burgener Strength’s courses?
We have an amazing social media team that works diligently to keep the community up to date on new course offerings, educational material and tips and tricks applicable to both coaches and athletes. You can find us on both Instagram and Facebook (@burgenerstrength.com).
In which languages are the Burgener Strength courses presented?
As general rule, all the courses are presented in English but depending on the country and the coaches language skills, we may offer courses presented in the local language. Please check under the information of the specific seminar for the course language and if a translator will be present. Be advised that all the course materials are drafted in English.
Other than the listed Burgener Strength course offerings, is it possible to inquire about a private course dependent on the demands of our gym/community.
Absolutely! We have experience in developing courses for military units, schools, and numerous other training environments. Send us an email at email@example.com and we’ll work together to develop a course specific to your needs and demands.
What is the course cancellation and refund policy?
These terms are only applicable to seminars, workshops and courses (also jointly designated as “Training Event”) sold online through this website:
The orders made through our online store aren’t refundable except:
A) We cancel the seminar prior to the event taking place;
B) We decide within our sole discretion that the circumstances put out by the person who registered are attendable.
-All refunds are limited to the amount paid by the client.
-Our clients can however request the cancellation of their orders, but that doesn’t entitle them to get a refund.
-We may freely cancel our Training Events 14 (fourteen) days prior to the date they are set to take place. In the event of a cancelled course due to low registration, the clients that registered for that specific Training Event:
i) Are entitled to get a refund;
ii) Will receive an email notification confirming the cancellation of the Training Event 14 (fourteen) days before the date in which it is set to take place;
iii) Are not entitled to get any compensation or indemnity for any expenses or damages they incurred into.
What happens if I’m registered for a Burgener Strength course and I’m unable to attend?
As a general rule, all course registrations are nonrefundable but we’re happy to transfer your spot to another individual or give credit for a future course. Of course, exceptional circumstances are taken into consideration so if you have a doubt, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be more than happy to work with you to find a solution.
Do you offer online training or remote coaching?
If one of our 3 training programs doesn’t meet the demands to accomplish your goals, feel free to reach out at email@example.com and we’ll do our best to construct an individualized training plan to set you up for success.
Does Burgener Strength belong to the CrossFit® Training Department?
No. Burgener Strength, LLC is an independent strength and conditioning company that provides quality education and training in Weightlifting and other sport specific applications. Our Weightlifting Level 1 and Level 2 courses are recognized as a CrossFit® Preferred Courses, which meet the quality standards set by CrossFit, Inc. and entitle the participants to CEU’s (continued education units). How can I become part of the Burgener Strength Coaching Team?
At this time, we are not actively recruiting new coaches. Burgener Strength is the authority in Weightlifting education and experience worldwide so we hold our coaches and staff to the highest standards. With that said, if you feel that your skills and presence can enhance the Burgener Strength Team, feel free to reach out and let us know what you can bring to the table.
Do your courses earn any CEU’s credits?
Yes! Participants will receive 11 CEUs upon competition of our Weightlifting Level 1 course and 12 CEUs upon completion of the Weightlifting Level 2.
Are there any prerequisites to attending Burgener Strength courses and will I be forced to lift heavy?
No. We don’t have set prerequisites to attend any of our courses but we highly recommend that you start your coaching and/or athletic journey with our Weightlifting L1 Course. Maxing out or going heavy is not a requirement in any of our courses or seminars but we’ll always give the opportunity to do so.
Where can I purchase Burgener Strength apparel and do you ship internationally?
You can find Burgener Strength apparel, merchandise and products in our online store and we ship internationally! We’re constantly putting out new products so keep your eye out on our social media channels for updates.
How can I host a Burgener Strength Course and are there any incentives?
Please refer to our “Host a Course” page, which will outline host requirements and incentives. When considering host, we take into consideration a number of factors, namely the demand of the course in the local community and the reputation/reach of the host applicant.
Do you offer MIL/FIRE/LEO discounts?
Absolutely! Service runs deep in the Burgener family and Burgener Strength Team. We humbly offer a 20% discount to all Military, Law Enforcement and First Responders. Keep in mind that this discount cannot be combined with other discounts offered from time to time.
I am an Affiliate owner and would like to send multiple coaches to your course. Do you offer group discounts?
You bet…we’re honored that you believe in our methodology and want to educate your team on the Burgener Way. For groups of 5+, you’ll receive 1 free spot (4 paid, 1 free) and for groups of 3+, we’re happy to extend a 20% discount to each participant.
Can I gift a course/seminar to a family member or friend?
Yes. As long as you indicate that person as the attendee and fill out their personal information on the registration form.
If I’m in the San Diego area, can I come up to Mike’s Gym and train with the Burgener Strength Team?
Absolutely! If you have attended any of our courses, you’re more than welcome to come up to Mike’s Gym and train free of charge. Keep an eye out on our social media for when the team is training but open gym is normally on Wednesday’s morning at 10AM. With that said, feel free to contact us for additional training times and availability.
